Layered drink recipe

So were are in the process of moving (which is why I’ve been so quiet lately) and it’s been really crazy here leaving no  time for cooking. I made this drink for sheknows.com and since I’ve been consumed with boxes, packing and everything else I wanted to share here since it is SUPER easy to make. This particular drink does not contain alcohol so your little ones can drink it up. You certainly don’t have to stick to a red white and blue theme either.

The secret to these drinks are to use 3 different types of drinks that all have diffrent amounts of sugar. The one with the highest amount of sugar per serving goes on the bottom (fruit punch) the middle layer would have the least amount (blue gatorade) and to top off the drink you would use either diet sprite or diet 7up since they have zero sugar.

Pour the liquids in SLOWLY and OVER the ice cubes it helps them layer better (trust me on that) You can use any color combo you want just make remember the steps :) Enjoy!

This looks like a very fun drink. I’ll have to try it soon.I want to do a Thanksgiving themed one with cranberry juice, orange and either vodka or diet sprite on top.
